Krause ( paper core and paper lacquered segments forming the entire world ) with aluminum graduation chart cradle. Would make a perfect addition to any distingtive collection or for any antique globe enthousiast! Just imagine this globe sitting on your desk....... .....a true masterpiece of the Art Deco Bauhaus era.......has everything collectors so much desire! ......originating from a byegone era when designers and craftsmen created unique pieces of art with a soul..... Featuring an awesome frenchpolished solid mahogany base with the very rare incorporated compass option. All of the European African colonies are marked like; French West and Equatorial Africa, British Egypt and India, German colonies, Flemish Congo. The German Reich is also described on this globe as Jerusalem is. Another great option featured on this globe are all the marked old ship trade routes, currents and streams. When you are only satisfied with the finest and best be sure not to miss out on this treasure! The pictures just won`t do real justice resembling the true beauty of this globe.......in fact it`s much more beautiful in real! Excellent original condition without any flaws, missing pieces or cracks/scratches. Just some very minor signs of use, considered normal for a period piece. Has a very elegant typical Art deco Bauhaus design. Note: the light spots in some of the pictures are from the reflection of the light!
