This Revere Chiming Electric Clock has absolutely impressive Art Deco Styling! I found this piece at a convent / motherhouse estate sale. T is a tag on the bottom that says "This clock was willed to us by the late Rev. Msgr. Wm. H. Schulte who died at Cedar Rapids, IA on April 17th. 1957. Quite an interesting history. I know it works as I saw (and heard) it running, but since I know little or nothing about clocks, I haven't made any attempt to start it again. I'd have to assume that the movement could be cleaned and oiled. I took several pictures. T are a couple of tiny nicks on the edge. Otherwise, it is in impeccable condition. It measures 6 1/2" High, 19" Wide, 4" Deep. The style of this clock is invincible, with it clean lines and artfully grained wood casing. Master craftsmanship is written all over this impressive time piece. The clock has an incredibly attractive display and will blend effortlessly with any decor, especially Art Deco and Modern. The clocks casing is constructed of Blonde Mahogany with a gorgeous slanted grain. It has an oval face, with a cast silver finished dial with cut-out center, raised gold numerals, and gold hands.
