Fabulous Brown & Green Veil Tilt Topper Hat ~'40s WWII NWT A 30s, early 4os unworn, still with original price tag (!) tilt hat with a very sculpted dark brown fur felt crown & lush olive green velvet brim trimmed with a very wide & thick brown fishnet veil! The label reads "Original Shorlon Model" & the original price tag is still attached ($30.00 marked down to "15.00)! It's about 18" in circumference with an elastic strap to hold it in place (Please note, my model, Miriam, has a small head, about 20" in circumference~ please check your measurements with a cloth measuring tape to ensure proper fit) . The veil is about 4" long from the bottom brim edge. It's in mint/near mint condition (refer to "vintage condition" chart below). The hat form & trims could use slight reshaping from storage, other than that, it's a beaut! These are age appropriate issues, only mentioned to be thorough. Remember, even the Mona Lisa has cracks... ~Vintage Condition Chart~ Mint : Perfect, pristine, no signs of wear. Near Mint : Like new, no flaws to report. Excellent : Has been worn, no flaws to report. Very Good : Noted minor flaws, easily repairable or already repaired, wearable as purchased.
