This vintage Edwardian Full length Slip is truly exquisite ! Fabulous, elegant and incredibly beautiful - could easily be worn for a dress ! Can't you just imagine it. The bodice is elegant and truly daring with its lowness( and since it buttons closed - who's to say how low it really can get !) - daring anyone with its delicate flounced lace edging. Sheer lace rounds over each breast and continues under each arm. The skirt is truly exquisite - fitted around the hips and rear for fabuous style and demands to be noticed. The base is exceptional - a gorgeous ribbon threads through exquisite open work lace and ends in a saucy bow. Flounced, angled bias cut fabric insets set amid lace which in itself is quite exceptional - an interesting mesh net with an open dot design - unusual and unique. Now, on to the back ! This beauty is just as gorgeous whether you view from the front or the back. The ribbon ends with a bow at the side in back - which accents your behind. The upper back is a low scoop of angled lace and fabric. Again, edged with more delicate lace. And the base, of course is absolutely GORGEOUS !!!!
