From my personal vintage jewelry collection: This is a magnificent wide bracelet and earrings set in a quite beautiful design that is signed on the back of one end of the bracelet by the very diverse and talented designer Hobe', who is one of my very favorites. Both earrings are signed on the clipbacks. The cameo and rhinestone scheme is one used often by this fine designer, but, as usual, he gives it its own personality. It is just gorgeous, and perfect for any occasion, elegant or casual. It comes complete with its original satin-lined box, marked "Hobe' " on the inside of the top.This set happens to be a favorite of mine - I am partial to these wonderful pieces, and the design is so sparkly and elaborate, that I am reluctant to list it. But, sometimes we must share these amazing pieces with others, so more will know of the beauty created these many years ago.All pieces are quite wide and heavy, made with excellent materials and construction, so typical for this revered design house. They each are adorned with beautiful shell cameos, and the ornate centerpiece of the bracelet and each earring are graced with layers of brilliant marquis and round faceted rhinestones in several sizes. These are in shades of smoke (or "black diamond"), pale citrine (the color of lemonade), and sparkling clear. The bracelet's centerpiece is attached to each end of the clasp by a wide, silver-toned, braided and woven mesh band. The band also has beautifully carved silvery pieces as accents, I suppose. The earrings are just smaller versions of the same design on the centerpiece. All stones are faceted and appear prong-set. This design is so amazing with the rhinestones, cameos, and silvertoned metalwork selected and positioned perfectly, so as to catch and refract each others' colors and light. This is what sets Hobe' apart as a designer, and this attribute is masterfully executed in this classic set. To me, this is Hobe' at his best & brightest.This sparkling bouquet of color and texture is set in a very beautiful and heavy well-made design on all pieces. I see no stones missing. Amazingly, t appears to be only minimal (if any) wear to the stones and to the metalwork, any of which would be understandable, given the estimated age of the set. All stones look wonderful. All the stones are in bright, clear condition. T are no stones dark, dull, or yellowed. If my pictures make them appear anything less than extremely sparkly, you may blame the photographer/camera.T is so much glitter and sparkle in this set, it simply looks marvelous for its estimated age!It is of excellent quality and is very wearable for its weight & size, as I have come to expect from this exceptional designer. It was apparently very well-cared-for by its previous owner(s). Measuring approx. 6 3/4 inches long and 1 5/8 inches wide at the centerpiece, the cuff bracelet is quite stunning. T is a working safety chain, and also a nice tight clasp. The bracelet feels cool and smooth as it glides against the wrist.The glamorous "climber" earrings are clip, and measure approx. 1 1/8 inches long by 3/4 inch wide.This is an unusual and beautiful wonderful Hobe' set that I hate parting with!
