Hi everybody! Gungirly's auctions have CHANGED just a little bit so please read the fine print. I've started the summer off with a BANG ! & I have LOTS of wonderful goodies to list! Offered for auction is a fabulous antique lorgnette made of sterling silver and inlaid niello, these are really beautiful! The measure 5 1/4" long from end to end and are in excellent vintage condition. These have great magnification and no doubt were used for reading. Would be fun to wear on a silver chain to a show to better see marks. The estate that I am selling these for had a lot of Russian items, so t is a strong possibility these are Russian in origin. The only mark is under the nose piece "850". Opening mechanism releases glasses smoothly and fastens securely. Don't miss your chance to own this pair of elegant, refined lorgnette eye glasses.
