Up for auction and your consideration a beautiful vintage coffee grinder, mill. Made in Holland circa 1950 for the Douwe Egberts coffee company. The initials of the company DE are on the porcelain hopper as is the word coffee in Dutch script surrounded by a sunburst of gold rays. Very decorative! In excellent condition! This mill is hand operated and made to hang on the wall. The backboard is wooden, with four holes to hang it on the wall. The black lid is also wooden. The glass catch cup is original and complete with no chips but does have a slight crack. The porcelain hopper is also in excellent condition, with one chip under the lid. This doesn't effect its functionality. In fact, not only is this authentic old mill decorative but functional as well, as it is in good working condition. The grind can also be adjusted by a lever at the back for a fine or coarse grind. Just a wonderful vintage item to use and display in your country kitchen!
