Up for bid is a beautifully crafted, brand-new set of Faberge' stemware from the Palais Royal stemware collection. This is an exquisite set of 4 martini glasses, made of the finest cut crystal, mouth-blown and hand cut by Faberge' master craftsmen. This set of fine martini glasses are the Edition I set, in the colors of Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Green, and Ruby Red. The set comes safely nestled in a satin lined blue velour case emblazoned in front with the Faberge' logo, brass hinges, and pin closure. The Faberge' Imperial Collection began as a tradition within the family of Czar Alexander III, who gave his wife, Czarina Maria Fedorovna a Faberge' Egg as an Easter present in 1885. This lovely egg was the first of many such creations made for the Imperial family, by famous Russian jeweler Peter Carl Faberge' (1846-1920). This modern collection of designs reveal the master crafstmanship and imaginative skill of Peter Carl Faberge'. This set is brand-new, in the box, never been used. The vibrant colors and beautifully carved designs on these wonderful martini glasses must really be seen to fully appreciate, but we hope the pictures do them some justice.
