This listing is for a beautiful Faberge cut crystal egg mounted on an elaborate gilt metal base measuring 6 3/4" high with the base measuring 2 7/8" in diameter. Named the "Romanov Eagle Egg", this magnificent egg is hand-crafted in lead crystal, expertly copper wheel engraved by highly skilled Russian craftsmen. The Romanov Eagle has been a symbol of Imperial Russia for more than three hundred years.

The Romanov Eagle Egg was issued in a limited edition of 500 pieces with this egg being # 31 of 500. These highly collected Faberge eggs are produced by decendants of the original Faberge artists and are crafted of fine blown lead crystal with stands encrusted in gold in order to recreate the splendor of the original Faberge Imperial Eggs. The crystal egg is mounted on a beautiful engraved stand creating a paperweight that anyone would cherish.

This paperweight is in new condition, comes with its original hang tag with a price of $475.00, in its original padded blue velvet box with the Romanov Eagle insignia embossed on the top. This would make a great gift for someone special or a wonderful present to yourself that would make your own desk very special!
