This is a 1937 Zenith Model 5-R-216 Black Face Dial Cube Radio, with original "Z" Zenith Wood Knobs. All but the top is the original finish, I did refinish the top, and cleaned up the front and sides, it has a very nice finish with the usual wear,but in my opinion, far less than the average 70 year old radio. Chassis is clean top and bottom, has had all new capacitors replaced, and all resistors that were out of tolerance, also tubes tested and replaced with tubes with at least 85% emissions tested on my Jackson tester, alignment tweaked for max output, and a new line cord and plug.Plays strong with no hum or other unusual noises, lots of stations loud and clear with a long wire antenna connected. As per usual, this is being Sold AS IS!Be sure to add me to your favorites list ! T is a tiny hole on the black face dial about the size of a pea, on the 65 KC number, and I backed it up with black material, so its almost not visible. Also I have put in brand new dial lamps, so in a darkened room with the tubes glowing and the dial all lit up, its nostalgia at its best! Case size is: 12"Wide, 10"High, by 9" Deep.
