FABULOUS 19th c. VIVID GAUDY WELCH MILK PITCHER ENGLAND
You are bidding on a FABULOUS and EXCELLENT condition, 19th c., "GAUDY WELCH" milk pitcher. The artwork is fabulous with NO wear at all. At the top of the handle w handle meets the side of pitcher t is a little face. Look at photo. It is very rare that artwork is also in the inside and this one has floral decor inside along the rim. The rim of the beautiful pitcher is scalloped. It is executed in colors of oranges, greens, rusts, cobolt blue, and copper lustre. Along flowers and leaves it is accented with copper lustre. The handle does not have flaking ocurring. It is skipped paint by the factory which is glazed over. It measures 5 3/4"H x 6"L (spout to handle) x 5"dia. It is marked Allerions, est 1831, Made in England. And incised in the pottery a number 23 and 24, with potters markings. I have included several photos for your viewing. Any red, white or dark spots you may see, are from lights, camera lights or surrounding lighting. They are not chip, wear or damage, unless otherwise specified. High bidder pays $12.50 (priority) S/H, due to size and weight. Insurance is extra. Beginning May 14, 2007 the USPS raised shipping costs significantly. USPS Shipping fees are now based on weight and total box dimensions/size. Packages with dimensions of over 1 cu. ft. are now considered oversized and significant additional charges apply. We want to keep your shipping costs as reasonable as possible. And t is a nominal fee for handling. I will IMMEDIATE ship ONLY if paid with a US POSTAL MONEY ORDER. All other forms of payment I will do a 10 BUSINESS DAY HOLD, from date of deposit. (No exceptions made). I do accept Paypal. Items paid with Paypal will ship once Paypal has funded my bank acct. Which is usually 2-4 days from you paid Paypal. Good Luck!
