ITEM DESCRIPTION Up for your consideration is a very fine Art Deco style bedroom suite, made by Martinsville of America, circa 1940. This finely made set is made of cherry (I believe), and is about the finest quality available from this era. The drawers are finished with fine woods, both inside & out, and the grains of the woodwork is exquisite. The design is very reminiscent of a Paul Frankl style, but I could not identify a designer. The entire set is on par with the best studio pieces of the time, and likely cost a small fortune when new. The set includes a headboard/bed, with 2 nightstands, and a pair of dressers. CONDITION The condition of this piece is excellent throughout, with 3 exceptions: (1) The mirror has a 3" crack in the upper right corner. This could be replaced, or just thrown out, which would be more compatible with modern design. (2) T is a dime-sized piece of veneer missing in the bottom corner of one of the dressers. This is very difficult to detect, and (3) T is a light scratch on the top of the headboard. All three issues were clearly photographed in the final three photos, and (other than the mirror) should not cause any real concerns. Otherwise, the set is is supurb condition, much better than what you would expect for a set of this style & age. All drawers open & close properly, and the set is ready for immediate use. It is free of chips, cracks, odors, or water stains. SIZE This headboard measures 98" long, 40" high, and 8" deep. It is designed to fit against the wall, and the nightstands fit in front, with a full size bed in the center. You add the frame yourself. The nightstands are 21" wide, 17" deep, and 28.5" high. The long dresser is 63" long, 33" high, and 21" deep. The tall chest is 45" high, 21" deep, and 41.5" long. This item is currently available for inspection at our Aurora, Il location. Our store hours are 9 AM to 9 PM everday but Sunday (from 10 AM to 6 PM) ITEM INSPECTION: We pride ourselves on allowing inspection prior to purchase. The vast majority of our furniture items are located at our Aurora location, but please confirm this before driving to our store. We offer a full refund policy, with no questions asked, but we must be contacted through eBay within 3-days after receiving the item. If a refund is requested, the buyer is to pay shipping both ways. The refund will be made once the item is back in our possession, and that it arrives in the same condition that it was sent.
