ANTIQUE CONTINENTAL WHITE METAL SNAIL SNUFF BOX This is an antique white metal (unmarked silver, pewter etc) snuff box in the form of a snail. Probably French or German and made around 1900. It is in very good condition as can be seen in the images. I am sure that it is not plated, so it could easily be silver. Dimensions: Approx 1.5 x 1 x 1 (inches) Weight: 30 grams (1 ounce) We have been collecting nice things for over 30 years and have also inherited bits & pieces from relatives.
