Fabulous Antique Pair Georgian Garnet Floral Circle Dangle Drop Earrings 1800sA truly stunning pair of antique late Georgian glittering garnet floral and circle double-dangling drop earrings, dating to circa 1820s/30s.These wonderful earrings are in three parts with two separate dangling sections which makes them continuously shimmer and glow in the light. The top section consists of a triangle of three garnets with a French wire attached. One chain link is attached to a large dangling circle of glowing deep red garnets with a further chain link dangling inside the circle attached to a gorgeous garnet floral cluster. This has deep red larger garnets around the outside, an inner circle of small lighter red garnets and a deep red garnet center. Amazing! The earrings are unmarked and test for sterling silver.The earrings measure approximately 34mm long excluding the French wire. The garnet circle is about 22mm across. The floral cluster about 14mm.The earrings are in very good condition. All the garnets are present and look original aside from a tiny pinker one at 11 o'clock on the inner floral circle of each earring. There is an old repair to the top chain link on one earring. French wires are strong and well attached.
