We are offering this beautiful original Hope cedar Chest,manufactured by LANE company with seal inside.Circa 1940s.In good condition,ready to be used.!! This hope chest has it's original stain satin finish.Serial number on bottom reads style4822843.Water fall design top with dust proof lid .Front,sides of lid and bottom of the chest are constructed with burl walnut wood ;Geometrical mix woods front in excellent condition.The mixed woods are:Mahogany ,walnut,and solid cedar lining.Water fall style top with push button lock.To comply with Ebay regulations the lid does not lock.When in use the side hinges will allow to leave top lid open .A very nice cut out base with grooved legs.Wood tray inside in excellent condition.Measurements are 23"h.19"d.47"L. Strong hinges.Very clean inside and out. .Very Few marks/dings and signs of normal use and age. T is only one piece of vineer missing on the bottom front .. See close up pictures details.Quality join construction.It can be picked up from zip 48328 or sent by greyhound bus anyw in US west coast states including Texas delivery to be picked up from Greyhound depot near you .. for 160.00. allow 7 to 20 days for packing and shipping.. The new owner will be delighted with this chest.. Wonderful cedar smell... Look like it was never used .. no reserve..
