Gorgeous Brass & Topaz Art Deco Necklace/Choker
This is a beautiful example of an Art Deco choker style necklace, incorporating both the brass that was so popular at that time and the topaz color stones. Although my camera cannot capture the essence of these beautiful gold foil backed topaz rhinestones, I assure you that the fire within sparkles beautifully! Seven of the stones are prong-set into beautiful brass filigree flowers measuring 3/4 inches each; with the upper most stones standing alone. A heavy gage brass rolo chain completes the necklace. The closure is one that I have never seen in my 35 years of collecting vintage jewelry. It resembles a lobster claw, but with the clasp in reverse, which is very unusual. This gorgeous piece measures 16 1/4 inches end-to-end. It is in excellent vintage condition, with the untouched patina of age. Payment& Shipping: Payment is due no later than 7 days after auctionend. Combined shipping will only apply for those auctions ending within a 3 day period. Shipping is via USPS priority service and will be actual cost of shipping only (based on weight.) NO handling fee is applied. Item(s) will ship within 48 hours of payment receipt made by Paypal, money order or cashier's check. Shipping for items paid with personal check could take up to 10 days.
