SUPER CLEAN 1920'S ART DECO WATERFALL BEDROOM SET WITH DOUBLE CLOSET CHIFFEROBE AND FINE BAKELITE TORTOISE SHELL PULLS

PRICE REDUCED!

Simply the cleanest set we have had this year! This listing is for an ultra great condition three piece art deco waterfall bedroom set by the Tri-Bond Furniture Company. This set has the nicest Bakelite pulls we have ever seen! Each pull is done in a translucent tortoise shell pattern and each are in excellent condition. This set has seen remarkably gentle use coming right out of a lovely elderly ladies' home in Worcester , Massachusetts . She was the only owner of this set and received it as a wedding gift back in the 20's. This set spent its entire life in a non-smoking spic and span home and the set is simply wonderful. The chifferobe is equipped with rare twin cedar lined closets and hanging bars that actually accommodate coat hangers. Note: most wardrobes are not wide enough to actually hold coat hangers on their bars. The closets are 18" deep and 12" wide with this six drawer Chifferobe standing 60½" tall and is 40" long and 20" wide. The three drawer dresser with mirror is 46" long, 20" wide. The mirror is 35" tall having a 32" wide and 33¾" tall. The full sized bed has a real waterfall curved over rounded rail on the head and footboard. The headboard is 40½" tall and 56½" wide and the footboard is 56½" wide and 24" tall. Each of the pieces is appointed with nice deco flared legs. The entire set is made from select patterned walnut veneers executed in very crisp detail and design. T are only two tiny flaws on the chifferobe and dresser with each having a tiny ¼" veneer chip. We will detail these in and make them very hard to detect, but they were no doubt caused by our buyer in removing them from the home. Despite how minor these tiny nicks are, we saw them and by our policy, we inform you when any flaw comes to our attention no matter how small. We will detail these tiny nicks out and you would have a hard time even finding them when we get done. We haven't touched this set prior to taking our pictures and it will be bubble wrapped tomorrow when we get in the shop to preserve the set's fantastic condition. This is a very unique waterfall deco set that is perfect for an apartment or condo!

FURNITURE WOODS 101 : We get a lot of questions on whether or not the furniture we list is comprised of solid wood or veneered. We would like to take this opportunity to give our customers a brief explanation of the construction of antique furniture. Most specialty cuts of wood i.e., tiger maple, bird's eye maple, tiger oak (a.k.a. quarter sawn) crotched mahogany, Cuban mahogany, burled walnut, flame birch, flame cherry, etc., are applied to furniture via veneers. These choice cuts of woods are prohibitively expensive that they very rarely used these in solid wood form. However, t were exceptions to this. When we are fortunate to encounter one of these exceptions, we try to be clear in identifying the solid wood construction. In most cases, these woods are no longer available at any price. If our listing doesn't state that it is made of solid wood, then the furniture was made from a combination of veneers and solid secondary woods. We list the specialty woods in our listings first, as that is the most prominent feature. Please read descriptions carefully and look at all photos. Ask any questions that you may still have. Requests of additional photos are encouraged, as we are limited to the amount of space allocated for photos. We hope this clarifies for you some of the mystique involved with buying antique and vintage furniture.

"BUY IT NOW" OR "BEST OFFER" : We use eBay's "Buy It Now" or "Best Offer" option as our way of selling merchandise to you in the fairest way possible to all. The "Best Offer" option allows you to barter for a price without having to stand by your computer to the end, just to have someone 'snipe it' away from you at the last minute. You don't have to wait for 7 days either! Once an offer is made and accepted...
