I am so pleased to offer this magnificent piece of early lighting. It takes my breath away. The construction is brilliant and skillfully executed. I usually rely on the pictures to portray the details and I believe they do with this rare find. It accommodates two candles and is adjustable in height. It stands at 28 1/4 inches in height and extends to 43 1/2 inches. Look closely at the pegged construction and the wonderful carving of the wood. This piece is likely mid nineteenth century if not earlier. It shows wear and use but no abuse or damage. It appears to be all original but not being an expert you will have to look closely and decide. If you want additional pic's, just ask and I will be more than happy to send them to you. Please include your email address with request as I cannot add any more pic's through Ebay. The base measures 11 3/4 by 6 inches and the beautifully carved legs are 5 3/4 inches long This early piece has presence in a room and will certainly be a highlight of any collection of early folk art lighting. A piece like this is hard to come by. Don't miss out on this opportunity. The base measures 11 3/4 by 6 inches and the beautifully carved legs are 5 3/4 inches long. Good luck bidding and congrats to the next lucky owner. T is a very modest reserve on this rare gem. Canadian and International bidders please contact me before bidding as the shipping costs will be higher. Shipping, with packing and insurance in the US will be a flat rate of 34.99
