We have just moved from Wisconsin to California, and shockingly, discovered that heavy coats, furs and faux furs, are rarely needed here. Who knew? So, we have hundreds of heavy coats, and this is one of our favorites. Now, it will be yours.
With extremely long (2-3") hair, this coat will keep you warm, yet you'll never be mistaken for a wild animal. Elegant black and white stripes can be worn with almost anything, and the concealed hook and eye closures allow you to ward off the harsh elements. There is a full ivory satin lining, and waist pockets hidden within the hair, so your hands will be warm. The coat was made in the United States by Northern Belle, and is marked size 10, but it does fit rather generously. The bust is 42", 19" between the shoulders, 24" sleeves and 33 1/2" length from collar to hem. The coat is in excellent structural condition with no tears or missing patches of hair, but it needs a trip to the cleaners. There are a few small spots of discoloring stain (see photos, nothing tragic), and some small spots inside the lining. A trip to the cleaners will make the faux fur as good as new, and you will have many years of warm fuzzies.
