Here's a beautiful, Art Deco style, solitaire Ruby gold ring. This fabulous oval cut, genuine Ruby is 9mm by 7mm and weighs approx. 3.31 carats. It is a Genuine quality, earth mined Ruby with wonderful colour and translucence. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) would call it I1 (included 1) as it is slightly included (with silk). It is genuine Corundum, well cut and is a wonderful deep pigeon blood red colour and with no chips or cracks makes this a real quality gemstone.... It is all set in an intricate gallery with wonderful floral ribbon design of fully hallmarked (for 9ct gold).. With the inclusions removed from this Ruby, it would be worth many, thousands of pounds...It would make a fabulous gift for a loved one, or a wise investment. Lasers are now being used to remove some types of inclusions in Diamonds, who knows what they might be able to do with the inclusions in this gemstone in the future....
