I hardly know w to begin to describe this necklace. If you like one-of-a-kind items, if you like the feeling of never seeing someone else in the same jewelry as you, if you like to wear one stunning item and you like the attention and compliments that brings--then this is the necklace for you. Guaranteed to be one of a kind and to get comments wver you go! Clearly handmade by a talented artist. This necklace is about 22 inches in length; when on, it hangs beautifully on the neck--especially now, in the summer, in the season of deep v necks and other low cut tops. Tested at my jeweler. this is crafted out of sterling silver. Some of the panels have another metal overlaid-could be gold, could be brass. The center medallion is 2 inches by 1 1/2 inches. Consists of many overlapping layers of sterling, all of which have been hand hammered with designs. Also, the center medallion is set with 4 stones, all set within their own settings--some bezel set, some prong set. Among the stones are amethyst, hematite, garnet and another pretty pale blue stone. Next, to each side of the centerpiece, are two slightly smaller pieces on each side. These are again layered sterling, etched with designs, set with gemstones.
