FABULOUS! MACY'S New York 100 Years Celebration 5 GUND BEARS - In Leather Trunk This auction features the special edition GUND bears set celebrating MACY'S 100 Years at their HERALD SQUARE location in NEW YORK CITY. These bears were sold in 2002 and they're very cute!! They are in excellent, never played with condition. They are clean and they don't smell smoky or musty. The bears all fit into their special leather-like TRUNK. The inside of the trunk shows a few very light old-age spots, other than that it's also in great shape. It measures approx. 12" tall x 9" wide x 6" deep. It has sturdy metal latches that work perfectly and a metal handle on the top. The original Macy's paper hang-tag still hangs from the handle. There's FIVE GUND BEARS inside the trunk. The large bear measures approx. 14" tall. His sweater is embroidered with "MACY'S NEW YORK."The FOUR smaller bears wear sweaters that read: "Macy's Fourth of July Celebration", Macy's SantaLand", "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade", and "Macy's Flower Show". They each measures approx. 7" tall. Each comes with its paper hangtag. The hangtag for the Flower Show bear has come off. It could be reattached with a bit of tape, but I'll leave that decision to the new owner. The other three small bears all have their tags attached. This is a very special collection of Gund bears!
