A fabulous and large Miriam Haskell demi parure fastoon style necklace with earrings.The necklace is a work of art with molded green glass and faux pearls. The green glass is somewhat transparent and very bright. The larger faux pearls are approx. 3/4 of an inch long and the ones in the flat V shaped section are round.The round faux pearls have clear RS around them and a few scattered in the V.The necklace is antique gold tone metal in a swirl design.The clasp is an insert type and has a small flower on the top with one clear R/S.The earrings have the same metal design and one molded green glass bead in the center with accents of a round faux pearl and clear R/S.This set is being offered for another person who indicates that her mother was in New York in 1948 at an event and won the set in a raffle.It was then taken home and put away and never worn. While the set is not signed but it has the original Miriam Haskell paper tags on both the necklace and the earrings.The tags are silver and the print which is on both sides is black and reads Miriam Haskell.Additionally the set was keep in what appears to be the original cardboard box which has the name Irwin Specialty Shop Jackson Heights NY on the front. The necklace has five dangles the longest of which is approx.4 inches and the shorter ones are approx. 21/2 inches and 2 inches. The shortest ones are on the outside. The dangles are attched to the V shaped section of the necklace which has six sections that are attached to form the V. The attachment design provides three open spaces.This section is approx.four inches across and three inches long. This makes the this section including the dangles approx. seven inches long.The rest ot the necklace is alternating green glass,antique gold,spacers and the faux pearls.The portion of the necklace the goes around the neck is approx. 13 inches. If necessary because of the chain design chain cound be added by the clasp to increase the size this part of the necklace.The earrings are approx. 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide and are clips.I feel that this set is really a special Haskell design and has all the great details that she is famous for.
