MOST FABULOUS antique CHANDELIER, and one of the most UNIQUE!!!....So SHABBY/COTTAGE CHIC....I think it is probably from the 1920s-40s or perhaps even earlier. Basket measures approx. 12 inches in diameter. Total length from the top of the ceiling cap to the bottom of the chandelier measures approx. 26 inches, total size. Outside appears to be a GESSO WOOD??, with attached/built in panels of old milk glass inside. Old matching ceiling cap is included. Ceiling cap has attached chain that holds the chandelier....chandelier hangs from the 3 hooks that are attached to the end of chain...see photos. The basket and ceiling cap are both accented around the top with a muted multicolor FLORAL MOTIF....also GESSO? Light holds one standard size bulb. It is in perfect working order, however, you would definately want to have it checked before installing. T are some considerable small chips throughout the gesso wood, and very chippy paint throughout, which just adds to the old vintage charm...paint continues to chip off when I move it...very old paint indeed!!! You may want to touch up the paint...however, I think it looks GREAT just as it is with the chipping paint for the COTTAGE CHIC feel. I would probably leave it as is in it's original state, maybe with some touch ups...T are a couple of areas on the chandelier and the ceiling cap w it appears that the previous owner painted the ceiling and managed to get some white paint on the chandelier and cap...an easy fix. I took many photos in various angles to give you an idea of how AWESOME and unique the light is. Please email if you need more photos or info.
