These bookends are beautifully detailed and painted, have developed a lovely patina over the years, and are in very good condition with no visible flaws. They measure a little over 5" high ,are 6 1/2" long, and weigh just a hair over 3 lbs. each. The iron is finely detailed (see photos); the camels are painted a slightly bluish-gray, and the harness is gold and cream-colored. NOTE: Because of the lighting, in the photos, the camels appear to be quite blue --- in reality, they are much more a dark gray with just the slightest hint of blue. The same gold color is on the top of the base; the lower part of the base is three-tiered and is painted a dark bronze color. Each bookend is stamped "1153" on the reverse; t are no other clues as to the manufacturer or the age. Please ask any questions before bidding. Shipping to the continental U.S. will be $9.00; international bidders please contact me for a quote before sending payment. Good luck and thanks for viewing this auction. T is NO RESERVE
