Hi and thank you for viewing this auction. This auction is for a vintage large Lladro of 'The Gossips'. This was a recent acquisition from an estate sale I attended. This marvelous Lladro figurine was first introduced in 1978 and was later retired in 1986. Lladro makes beautiful porcelains that is manufactured in Spain. This large porcelain figurine is known as The Gossips is of two women, one elderly and one a young woman, w the young women stops her sweeping to lean over into the elder woman to tell the other woman who appears fascinated, of the latest news in the neighborhood. The colors are the soft pale blues, pinks, grays, etc. The size of the figurine is 12-1/4" high 7-3/4" long at the base and 4-1/4" wide at the base. The figurine is in the glazed finish. The base is stamped with the famous Lladro Made in Spain stamp. The condition of the figurine is MINT, no chips, cracks, fleabites, crazing, etc. It is absolutely MINT> T is no box however.
