This fabulous Silverplated punch bowl set was made by Towle as is told on the bottom of the bowl and cups. The punch bowl stands an impressive 10" tall and 14.5" across the top. It shows its age well with the expected amount of pitting and scratching on the inside and not much at all on the outside of the bowl. T are nine cups that each stand 2.5" tall and measure 2.5" across. They also show their age well. What a statement this beautiful set makes! Please see my other and upcoming auctions for more treasures from this estate that we are working on. The woman was a nurse and a seamstress for many years. Her two passions in life were sewing and collecting milk glass. I have never seen so many unusual and beautiful pieces of milk glass before!
