Fabulous Victorian Sea Shell Box was Pin Cushion NR

This is a neat antique shell box that at one time was a pin cushion. It measures approx 6 x 6 inches and is 2 1/4 inches tall. It is cardboard painted red and covered with sea shells. The top lid opens to a small box that is red inside. The outside edges of the box is covered in paper that is decorated with pictures of sea shells. On the top center is a small square of wood that used to be covered in red satin fabric to be used as a pin cushion. The edges of the red fabric are still visable. Someone has taped the inside lid of the box with white tape. T are 3 shells missing from the top and 1 possibly broken. T are no shells missing on the base.
