Up for auction and your consideration a simply gorgeous little cookie tin, perhaps also used as a lunch box. Very hard to find an enamel box in this diminutive size AND in this pure white colour! Looks just like a bread box, but so much smaller and cuter. Original hardware, including latch to close the lid. One hinge has a nail rather than the original pin holding it together. Hardly noticeable. Some restorations to the enamel along the rim and some crazing. The last photo shows this in detail. Not disturbing. These imperfections can be forgiven in such an adorable little box!I've pictured this little box on top of a normal sized bread box, so you can really see the size difference. Just charming! The lovely red box is also listed seperately. Made circa 1930 in Holland. Pure white enamelware inside and out. This little box is like a miniature bread box. This sweet little box measures circa 9 by 51/2 by 5 inches. Super to decorate any room in your home! Fabulous storage bin for any small treasure! Add it to your collection of boxes.
