Express your unique self with vintage costume jewelry. This splendid necklace is difficult to date, but it does have age and I am going to place it in the 1950s. Faceted crystal glass beads, with filigree end caps, have been used along with decorative, textured, elongated goldtone beads (unusual) and two filigree beads near the center front where a gorgeous large crystal bead drops with a dangle from it. All very ornate and interesting. The crystal beads have been touched with aurora borealis highlights and the beads sparkle as they pick up the surrounding colors. A lovely, old brass-colored filigree fastener completes the necklace. It measures 25" in length and the bead and dangle in front drop down 1 1/2". Excellent vintage condition.
