This is a subtle beauty! The first picture I took was over my Queen size bed and I laid it over sea blue matelese spread so you could see the intricate work that was done on this crocheted piece. The second picture is the pattern of a eight paneled wheel and the third picture is the other pattern that goes around the eight paneled wheel. The last picture is showing the intricacy of the pattern against the blue background and a white background. It also has popcorn puffs on top of the basic pattern.It weighs about 3 1/2 pounds. It measures 96" x 97", so it could fit a queen or king size easily.This fine piece is wonderfully constructed. The crochet is wonderful to look at, and it does a great job of holding the item together.I have looked this over with a fine tooth comb and see no problems what so ever.I have two and am putting the other up also. One seems lighter than the other, both are an ecru but it looks to me that one was used and one wasn't. I would put both in a washer and let it sit and maybe swish a couple of times and rinse and spin. Not really wash. They are both old but have withstood any damage throughout the years. I can't even imagine the time and work that went into these bedspreads.This is truly a beauty!
