meissen meissen plaque meissen plaques german plaques german handpainted plaques royal berlin royal berlin plaques Fabulous Handpainted Porcelain Plaque Vintage circa 1920' - 1950' (not a new reproduction) Signed - marked on back appears to be German, done in the style of KPM and Meissen NO RESERVE This is an absolutely gorgeous HANDPAINTED porcelain plaque. Great and somewhat unusual subbject matter.... a beautiful Baroque era Lady in elegant clothing however she has one lovely delicate breast partially exposed. This piece originally came framed however the frame was missing the gilded gesso decoration. I removed the frame and multiple layers of backing in order to check the condition of the plaque. The back of the plaque was completely covered with cardboard and then sealed in brown paper. It definately appears that it had never been removed from the frame or taken out of the cardboard backing. The plaque is in PRISTINE condition. It has never been touched after framing, and tfore has NO damage and NO restoration. The plaque measures, 7 1/4" x 5 1/4" Again as with all my offerings on Ebay I unconditonally money back guarantee this purchase.
