Enchanting and rare and in marvelous condition, unusual for a design like this one (OVER 85 years old!)! This '20s golden gilt brass filigree necklace is fine, fine, fine. It has five ornate filigree panels with dimensional leaf and floral designs and cornflower blue, almost lapis colored, glass cabochons encircled by tiny faux pearls. A graceful leaf on each side connects to a single strand of blue glass with micro-mini sized twisted rope brass spacers. The clasp is also unusual and conceals a sturdy hook/ring closure. The larger panels are 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch, and the total length of the necklace is 16 1/2 inches.
Every one of the many, many tiny faux(?) pearls is original and intact. Every glass piece is intact with no damage, cracks or chips. Two of the tiny spacers next to the clasp are missing which is not noticeable because of their size. The golden gilt is gorgeous and shiny. It is signed "Czechoslovakia" on the filigree back. This is just a treasure. Thank you for visiting our store. We wish you Peace, wver you are in this World. Sorry, we do not ship to Italy.
