Its open cast aluminum basket makes this speaker structurally solid, while minimizing trapped air.The 10FH500 is built with a 3" aluminum wound voice coil on a glass fiber former for reduced weight, which keeps sensitivity high, while maintaining a high continuous power handling rating of 500 watts. A low Qts rating of 0.26 allows this woofer to be used in modest sized sealed cabinets, making it great for monitor use or in large format three-way speakers as a dedicated midrange.
