Fake Picasso Etching 'Majer y Minotauro' 1933 Signed in pencil - allegedly from the 'Vollard' suite I bought this in good faith a number of years ago but now believe it to be a fake; hence the very low start price, reflecting my opinion I am selling this as a piece of interest / bit of fun / an unknown punt NOT as a genuine work by Picasso, although very similar pieces continue to be sold on the internet purporting to be genuine Etching on thick handmade paper cardboard Musee d'Orsay and Christies of New York stamps on back and catalogue numbers (3184406 and 15039 respectively) Stamped number 3185417 on front 2 watermarks Complete with stamps - Christies New York in 1972 and Musee d'Orsay in 1984 Measures 35 x 25cm; plate mark 11 x 9.5cm Has some light marks and very minor staining on right periphery of card, commensurate with age - certainly nothing major and would not be noticed framed Have a look at my other items and excellent feedback Happy to ship abroad by International Signed For delivery
