~*PLEASE SEE SHIPPING TERMS BELOW*~ * Other Forms of Payment Accepted Here * -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- *Up for sale here is a very nice clean example of a jersey milk bottle from the very small town of Schellsburg, Pa. located in Bedford County, Pennsylvania slightly northwest of old Bedford on Route 30. It is in the cute half pint size and is in attic mint condition with no wear. This example has the darker red pyro being all there and is immaculate on both sides. There is no fading or discoloration, and it all has retained all of it's original gloss. It reads on the front in red pyro lettering ~ "FALKLANDS / FARM / WHOLE JERSEY MILK". The back side shows a nicely detailed picture of a full jersey cow. It reads bellow ~ "Bottled At The Farm". On the base it has the familiar Owens-Illinois glass house markings of ~ "17 <0> 3" for the 1943 date. On the lower heel roll it reads ~ "Half Pint Liquid // Sealed B B 48 Registered". This vintage example measures only 5 3/8" tall and 2 1/2" across the base. The white filler beads have been added to further accent the pyro lettering for display, and it has an old generic cap that reads ~ "Pure Fresh Milk". You will be well pleased with such a nice example as this one from Bedford County, Pennsylvania, that is probably quite scarce. *Combined shipping will be offered here read more
