1 vintage gas mask which has a stamp giving 1978 within it so I am not sure if this is the date of manufacturing? 2 canisters or filters and 1 haversack in combat or camouflage colours which has an internal pocket that a filter fits exactly into, and an external side pocket which has a long piece of strong string attached for some reason. These masks were apparently only issued to the armed forces, forensic police, SAS, Special Forces or the military police. I personally don't know the first thing about them sorry, There is something within the mask which to me, looks like it may be a microphone, but I'm not sure, it is not static and it is totally flexible, though it may just be part of the breathing apparatus ( sorry I did say i don't know about this :D) so please look at the photos and see if you can identify what it is. I don't know if the canisters have been used as I can't tell the difference, but they both feel a little cold if that helps? The lenses of the mask are undamaged. The straps to the back of the mask are all intact, but are obviously used, though quite clean considering they may have been used on exercises or in combat situations. I want to stress that i really don't know what I am looking at from a collectors or experts point of view, so am simply describing what I see as fully as I can think with aspects that read more
