This item is a section of airframe from Harrier XZ988, recovered from the impact site in East Falkland. It was being flown by Sqd/Ldr Bob Iveson, the son of Battle of Britain pilot Tony Iveson, on a mission to attack Goose Green on the 27th May 1982, when it was hit by ground defences and crashed. Bob ejected and evaded capture for 3 days before being rescued. The items have been display mounted ready to display and come with a photo of the tail section at the crash site and a RAF wing card that Bob signed for me last year. The item is framed in a shadow box with glass ready to hang. It will be sent by Special Delivery in an attempt to prevent damage but I can not be responsible for the glass in transit.
