Oberstleutnant Hans-Joachim Jabs' aircraft is depicted in this very rare Limited Edition print which has the original pencil signatures of Oberstleutant Jabs, Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves & the Artist: Mark Postlethwaite GAvA. Prints size 12" X 17" The Famous Fighters are Limited editions of 1000 prints, each carrying the signature of the famous aviator whose personal markings appear on the aircraft depicted. ORIGINAL PENCIL SIGNATURES ON THIS LIMITED EDITION PRINT AVIATION SIGNATORIES JABS Oberstleutnant Hans-Joachim, Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. He began his military career as a pilot in 1936, serving with JG 344, renamed ZG 76 'Shark's Gruppe' and NJG 3. He was promoted to Kommodore of NJG 1 in March 1944 and ended the war with a total of 50 victories. ARTIST SIGNATURE Mark Postlethwaite GAvA Over the past two plus decades, Mark Postlethwaite has been recognised as one of the world's leading military artists. International sales of his limited edition prints continue to increase dramatically, with many editions now available only on the secondary market.
