Here is the issue of Famous Monsters that stands tall above the rest, reprints and all, #114 featuring all (or most) of Japan's Giant Monsters. Ken Kelly's moody, conceptual but still sufficiently accurate cover art graces an squarebound Famous Monsters that spans the original Godzilla to the then upcoming entry Godzilla vs Mecha Godzilla (1974). Of course, today there are countless publications with much more in-depth and critical information on this subject matter, but in 1974 apart from Greg Shoemaker's Japanese Fantasy Film Journal, there was precious little in print in the US and this themed issue holds a singular place in the hearts of budding American kaiju fans. This copy is in solid very good condition as pictured and described above.
