A very attractive looking bottle, this bottle has been exposed to a high heat/light source to enrich the purple color that would naturally occur if exposed to sun light for a prolonged period of time. With few exceptions, only clear bottles made before 1914 will turn this sun-colored-amethyst color. Not only does this color authenticate it as being a true antique, but it is a very desirable looking little bottle in the advanced sun-colored amethyst color. A very fancy shaped bottle, it is tapered from the base to the shoulders, then shoulders have fluted or beveled design that disapear up into hand tooled top. This is one of the nicer purple colors we've seen in an old bottle, it is just the right shade, check it out!
