"Old Fashioned" Beauty! Exceptionally detailed , fine antique china, half-doll figure, made in Germany or France , circa 1900, attached to a homemade pincushion and measuring aproximately, 9" high, overall. The china figure herself measures about, 4" high, and is very high quality , molded and fired china with much detail to her features, hair and accessories as shown in these photos. She has beautiful, slender features with slightly downcast expression, tiny mouth, beautiful eyes with outlined pupils and extra (red) lid lines, light blush, fancy blond hairstyle in long ringlets falling on her shoulders and caught up with a gold ribbon and several molded feather plumes . She is wearing a gown with deep blue bodice and square neckline outlined with white ruffle and matching ruffles at edges of her sleeves, yellow bow under the bodice. Her one arm is molded away from her body with one fingertip lightly touching the back of the large pleated fan with flower design that she holds over her other arm. The base is made with old (faded) velvet and rose trim and tied at the waist with antique black ribbon. This is a seldom found and charming figure and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, no damages or repairs and from a smoke free home.
