This is a very lovely porcelain inkwell with quill (?) & brass fountain pen. The inkwell bears the J Menau Graf von Henneberg Porzellan, Made in Germany, hallmark that is shown. T is some hand numbering / lettering below the mark that is no longer legible. This treasure is in very good condition with no chips, nicks, flakes, or lines and some wear to the gold trim. T is a charming finial on the well and lavish gold trim all around. The floral decoration is in the Dresden style with bright bouquets of wildflowers. The well is 2" deep and the tray is 9" long. Lovely on display and a great conversation piece. A touch of elegance and beauty for your home or collection ~ and a very pretty gift.
