PRESENTING A FANCY VINTAGE ITALIAN CARVED GOLD GILT BANNER MIRROR. Featuring a regal Renaissance Banner frame with fancy Gold Gilt carving details. The frame is wooden with an aged, painted matte finish. It has an iron hanging rod on the top with metal floral leaf ends. Hanging straps provide secure mounting to your wall. The Classical Gold carving work is beautiful, an overflowing Renaissance urn. Raised golden wood moldings around the original mirror, which is in nice vintage condition. You can see the traditional Tongue-In-Groove joinery construction on the sides- see close up photo. Little carved leaves & flower at the bottom complete the look. Printed Made In Italy on the back, unsure of age (possibly 1930s era? not sure). Measures 20 inches wide, 47 inches high & 1.75 inches thick.
