Whether one or hundreds, ProClocks is interested in purchasing them. Fantastic 24K Coil Spring Skeleton Clock/Dome-Fusee is a most unusual clock. It is a 24k Gold Plated Fantastic 18 inch high Fusee Coil Spring Clock, including the beautiful round glass dome. The width is 7 inches, and it has a 3 1/2 inch skeletonized dial, showing all the delicately designed gears of the clock. It is signed on the porcelain arabic numeral dial by the original maker, "WM. Smith, Mussellburch", the maker and inventor of it. The original of this piece sold in February, 1992 at Sotheby's for almost $20,000. We have made this clock almost identical to that original. It is so unusual, because it has a chain fusee movement inside the dial, connected to the pulley, which expands the coiled spring, to provide the power to the clock. You can see the coiled spring expand when it is being wound, and creating its own power to run the clock. T are six brass columns, one on each side of the coiled spring, which is the tower for the clock, on top of the beautiful marble base, which sets on knurled brass feet. It has a cylinder pendulum bob, which swings at a length of about 11 inches in back of the clock. This is truly an amazing clock, and one you will love to own. It is such a conversation piece, with its amazing power supply, so visible in the clock. We are selling it with a nominal reserve, and it has shipping and insurance charges of $40 within the Continental USA. We will package the dome so it will arrive without breakage, nor damage. Good luck on the bidding on this great looking piece. (7i2) Key Included Any winding clock we sell includes the key! Inquiries welcome! We'd love to answer any questions you may have before bidding!
