You are bidding on a fantastic antique armoire recently acquired from an exquisite estate in Washington DC. The burl finish gives it a wonderful look and it is in very solid condition ready for everyday use. See many photos below - arched door beveled design,early dovetailed drawer, original square nails, all original finish and key holes. Measures: 79" high x 59" wide x 20" deep. This wonderful old find breaks down quickly into 4 pieces for easy moving through small places. (Top, Base, Two Main Sections Each With Door Attached). Largest piece measures 67" x 29" x 20". See next three photos. This piece is approximately 150 years old so is obviously an antique and not showroom clean. I always mention any slight imperfections although I take many photos so you know exactly what you are bidding on. The only things I can mention is on of the rear legs of the base has been reinforced, t were at one time newer hinges above the original key holes so t are still a few small holes, the top piece shows some separation at the front left corner but it still very much in tact, and one door hinge could use a few screws at the bottom. None of these imperfections is probably even worth mentioning since none need attention but again some folks dont understand an antique of this age will not be showroom clean so I try to always state everything and take lots of photos. OUT OF AREA BUYERS - I use a professional furniture delivery company for items going out of my immediate delivery area. They are just like a moving company with the exception that they offer a "curb" delivery - in other words they will not bring the furniture into your house due to Union driver policies. Their packing, delivery, and communication is wonderful at very reasonable rates for the industry but realize any item trucked out of state will be at least a few hundred dollars tfore - GET A QUOTE BEFORE BIDDING please.
