Extremely Rare Mint Collectible with a very low print run (under 2000 were ever produced!) This auction is for the Marvel Limited- Fantastic Firsts Hardcover , pictured below. It is the most prestigious book Marvel ever produced; includes black leather slipcase and matching black leather cover with gold embossed logo, fine grade paper with gold deckled edges, specially created cover art with rare composite work of all of the early artists (Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, John Buscema, etc.) and many more extras. This was published by Marvel Comics in 1994 and this hardcover was only offered to retailers who were in good standing, with high comic monthly orders, even then, only one copy was allowed to be sold to each retailer! The copy up for auction is mint condition, still in its original shrink wrapping, the picture you see is of the front of the book in its slipcase and has a special bookmark with it (the bookmark is shrink wrapped on the back). The book is divided into chapters with individual new intros written specially for this book from many early creators, Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, John Romita, Roy Thomas, and many more! The stories include rare first appearances by virtually every Marvel Universe character that launched the franchise: Spider-man, Ant-man, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Sgt. Fury, Thor, Dr. Strange, Avengers, X-men, Captain America, Daredevil, S.H.I.E.L.D., & the Silver Surfer!! This book is a collectorâe(tm)s dream and will become the center piece of any Marvel collection!
