Up for a 7-Day auction is this strikingly beautiful, signed Rookwood vase dated XV, or 1915, executed in a deep matte green glaze with embossed flower designs on both sides. This glaze is as close to looking like a cucumber as I've ever seen, and it is applied quite heavily, especially over the embossed designs. This vase is truly a visual stunner, and would grace any art pottery collection and/or arts & crafts decor. This signed Rookwood 1915 embossed vase is 8.25" tall and appx. 4.25" wide throught the buttressed, shoulder area. The top, rolled-edge opening is 2 & 1/8" in diameter while the glazed, footed bottom is 2.25" in diameter. This Rookwood 1915 arts & crafts vase is in MINT condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs and/or retouches - guaranteed. The heavy matte green glaze has very tiny pin tip-sized (very tiny) spots, but I believe that this was the desired effect of the semi-gloss glaze. In sum, this is just wonderful piece of Rookwood Pottery in exemplary condition. This Rookwood 1915 vase will not disappoint! I accept money orders, personal checks and PayPal, but will wait for PayPal and/or checks to clear my bank (usually 3-5 business days) before packing and shipping out any merchandise.
