This is a superb solid Silver Box or Vinaigrette made by Mappin and Webb, A cross between classical and Art Nouveau made in 1911 it has an art nouveau decorated base and a classical style top but as you can see from the hall marks and the fit of the lid they were both made for each other. A great peice of silver work which is hall marked London 1911. In lovely condition with only a couple of small marks on the base and measures 58mm long by 55mm wide by 26mm deep.
