Item description:

You are bidding on the vintage Japanese Netsuke necklace shown below.

This piece was purchased from a man in his 80's. He brought it back from the war for his wife. It was in the old leather pouch, wrapped in knitted cloth, as shown. The condition is exceptional, as it was only worn a few times.

The necklace is genuine ivory. It measures approx. 34" long. It has two wonderfully carved Netsuke figures. One measures approx. 2" and the other is 3".

I believe that this piece dates to around WWII (1940's), although it could have been made before that.

I will be happy to combine shipping when possible (i.e. the items will fit in the same box). Combined shipping prices vary depending on the weight of the items. Handling charges are not added to the second item and I will do my very best to keep costs down.
